Author Janna Vanderveen

Janna Vanderveen is a wife, mother, counselor, and writer. She loves life, family, and friends. She delights in exploring God’s creation and in discovering the hidden beauty buried deep within the heart of his people and his world. She loves life-giving conversations, life-altering revelations, and emotional connections. She loves to read, write, and create.

Janna attended Calvin College where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work.  She studied at Western Michigan University where she received a Master’s Degree in Social Work with two specialties, one in school social work and the second in marriage and family therapy.

She has worked as a therapist for both Bethany Christian Services and Family Outreach Center in Michigan.

Illustrator Tricia Bos

Tricia Bos loves crossfit training, mountain biking, traveling, nutrition, photography, drawing, reading, and her dog Calvin.

Tricia attended Calvin College where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Art and French, and another in Education. She moved to Nigeria and taught for two years at Hillcrest School.  Moving back to Canada, she  worked at Hamilton District Christian High School for four years, teaching French and History.

Wanting to pursue a career in art, she enrolled at Sheridan College and obtained a third degree, a BA in Animation. She was hired by March Entertainment in 2008, as both a storyboard artist and 2D animator.  In 2010, Pipeline Studios Inc. hired her to work as an animator specializing in both 2D and 3D animation.

Her shows include SideKick, Detentionaire, Dex Hamilton: Alien Entomologist, and Oh No.
